Hey, I’m Madeleine!
I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker providing telehealth and walk+talk psychotherapy sessions for teens and adults in the Seattle area.
A little about me:
I received my Masters of Social Work from the University of Washington and have spent the last 8 years working in community mental health, providing in-home therapy for youth and their families and crisis intervention services.
As a relational psychodynamic therapist, I am deeply committed to cultivating a meaningful and unique relationship with my clients. I believe that through authentic, compassionate dialogue, we can explore the ways past experiences and relationships shape who we are today. My approach is centered on co-creating a supportive space where you feel seen and can express yourself freely. Together, we will work to uncover patterns, explore emotions, and build a deeper connection with yourself and others, fostering growth and healing along the way.
Some areas of concentration:
anxiety and depression
trauma and abuse
attachment and family of origin issues
grief, loss, and seasons of change
identity exploration
foster care and adoption
parenting and caregiver support
neurodivergence
challenging relational dynamics
religious trauma and spirituality
In my free time, I can be found out at the barn frolicking with horses and teaching riding lessons or snuggled up with my wonderfully chaotic labrador retriever watching documentaries and WNBA games
We shake with joy, we shake with grief.
What a time they have, these two
housed as they are in the same body.

Walk + Talk Psychotherapy
Walk + Talk therapy is an opportunity to engage in therapy while being outside and experiencing all the physical and mental health benefits of movement, nature, and therapy at once! Walk + Talk sessions help deepen our awareness and connection to our bodies and improve energy, mood, attention span and self-esteem. The healing power of nature helps individuals gets “unstuck” and feel more connected and alive to the world around us!
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
Anticipating Fall 2025 of having the option to work therapeutically with horses!
Why Horses?
Because horses are prey animals, they are highly sensitive to their environment and attuned to humans’ emotional cues. This sensitivity provides a unique opportunity to create a genuine relationship that goes beyond words and highlights relational patterns and behaviors that are present in other areas of client’s life.
I am currently in the certification process through Natural Lifemanship. Check out their website for more information :)
